J S F

The Joint Strike Fighter program is the U.S. Department of Defense’s focal point for defining affordable next-generation strike aircraft weapon systems for the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marines, and U.S. allies. The focus of the program is affordability — reducing the development, production, and ownership costs of the JSF family of aircraft. Three variants emerge from this joint design, all sharing a highly common structure that includes the same fuselage and internal weapons bay.

All models of the Lockheed Martin design look essentially alike, with common structural geometries, identical wing sweeps, and similar tail shapes see gallery.
